Harpur Centenary Celebration Invitation

Dear friends, it is our pleasure to announce the 100 year anniversary of Harpur Memorial Hospital in Menouf on Wednesday 1^st December 2010. This will be held in conjunction with the opening of the Harpur Community Health Centre in Sadat City as a joint celebration. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the celebrations which will take place in both Menouf and Sadat City (Transportation will be provided).

We would like to thank all those who have supported the development of the two Harpur projects and hope that you will be able to attend this great occasion with us; we are delighted with all that has been achieved.

We request that you provide us with an RSVP of your attendance as soon as possible via the addresses above; further details of the events of the day will follow. Please do not hesitate to ask us and we can help with booking hotels in Cairo.

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, at Pentecost, the Church received the Holy Spirit. This was in fulfilment of Jesus' promise to his disciples "wait until you receive power from on high" Acts 1:8. With receiving the Holy Spirit the disciples received a power to share the Good News within Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the rest of the world. The Holy Spirit still empowers the church today to advance Christ's mission. Jesus Christ and his disciples showed us how we can share the Good News with the people around us.

Today I need to eat,

today I need to play,

today I need care,

today I need love.

Give me hope today

for a brighter tomorrow.
