Community Development CentresCommunity Development One of the ways the Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa shows the love of Christ is through its community development work. We often see this as the "Samaritan Arm" of the church. Community development centres in poor areas of Cairo and Alexandria are run by EpiscoCare, the development arm of the Diocese. They exist to help transformthe lives of those most in need. EpiscoCare runs the following capacity building programs in each of the centres: education, health and environment, community organisation, training, motherhood and childhood, social care and economic development.
