Habesha CongregationAll Saints Cathedral (Habesha Congregation) Our Vision Our vision as the Habesha Congregation at All Saints Cathedral is to win Habesha people in Cairo and the surrounding area for Christ through discipleship, fellowship, teaching and training; with true Biblical worship within a body of Christ, to our community and our nation. Our Mission The mission of the Habesha Congregation at All Saints Cathedral is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, welcoming all people to the love of God through Jesus Christ into God's family; developing them both spiritually and physically by reaching out to their needs which lead to their maturity and minsitry back to the world. As much as we love to do this, we equally love to see the action of our members in worship God unreservedly, breaking every stigma and barrier. We desire for God to act in our situation and to draw us into a deeper and more fulfilling relationship with Him. We do invite you to "come and see the goodness of God" with us in our weekly worship times. May God bless you!

The Most Rev. Dr. Mouneer Hanna Anis
Pentecost 2010My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, at Pentecost, the Church received the Holy Spirit. This was in fulfilment of Jesus' promise to his disciples "wait until you receive power from on high" Acts 1:8. With receiving the Holy Spirit the disciples received a power to share the Good News within Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the rest of the world. The Holy Spirit still empowers the church today to advance Christ's mission. Jesus Christ and his disciples showed us how we can share the Good News with the people around us. |
